I designed this dual-sided business card for a smog check business that also specialized in cleaning car headlights.

T-Shirt Designs

Worked on the following t-shirt designs for a friend.

I started out with the silver vehicle as a placeholder, replaced it with the red Toyota FT-86, and then converted the red to white for the final piece.

Product Page – Scripting / CSS / Database

This page was a culmination of a complex series of mini projects into this final result.

Key Items included:
Preparing CSS for the layout and appearance of the page.
Coding of Active Server Page to put together conditionals based on database content.
Setup of relational database tables to record and display multiple items of data for display.
Implementation of CSS tricks, creative use of available data, and video streaming technologies.

Main Features Box

This was one of my most ambitious web projects of 2010. The idea was to create a tabular features box that would present database-driven data through the features box, allow mouse-over selection, and maintain selection memory even when the mouse cursor moved away from the box.

Available features programmed in (for the live version):

1. Random Selection — Every time you refreshed the page, a new set of features was randomly generated for display, making sure to also exclude duplicates.
2. Enable/Disable — On the administrative side, staff can turn on or off any particular feature.
3. Date Activity — Determines when a feature can be active. If not within a date range, even if active, feature will not appear.
4. Recycling — As a counter to #3, should there be a lack of available features to tally up to four, the system would go back to previous features and reuse however many is needed to reach a total of four.
5. Video streaming — Video can be streamed from the main box itself. (See DEMO version)
6. Weights/Always on Top — If there are certain features that are very popular, weights can be applied to them to increase the chance the features would appear. There is also an Always on Top option, if the story should appear at all times.

The above capabilities are programmed via database and scripting language, with the use of conditionals and data supplied from the back end.

The design of this template came from the client’s provided material, with an initial focus on the header. Following the header, I added in the pink color scheme around the template, and integrated the remaining images while maintaining a tween fashion theme.

RoomMates – Email Marketing Template

A simple, yet colorful design. The approach was to introduce the brand logo at full width, followed by quick, dramatic visual examples of the product.

The main content is then introduced, finished by a very high contrast visual statement.

Company Newsletter

A weekly newsletter that I designed in terms of layout design and content generation.

The preparer of the newsletter simply enters into a form page text content, URL links, and image links, and the newsletter automatically generates itself based on the data.
